we had the official handover juz now before sectionals began.
got a cd from the teachers that has all the photos from joie de vivre II(for the graduating j2s).
i guess we(saxophonists) were quite lucky becuz we got them in our favourite colours!!!
elaine-blue, fab-orange, yijun-green and mine-purple!
i hadta ask for those colours of cuz.
the saxtion(jun, fab, elaine, jennifer, isabel, weiling, jeremy, pangyu and cliff) had a little surprise for me after that.

we had the j1s leading sectionals after tt while the j2s observed them.
crap. i'm still not done with my evaluation.
neway, we had combine with cliff conducting.
he was so engrossed in the music that he kept flinging the baton away!
hahahahah.
after it all, tt's when it hit me(a thought, not the baton).
that was the last time we were gonna have sectionals.
it was the last time we'd haf combine under a student conductor.
and since nurbaya have taken over, last week was the last time yijun would be the one dismissing the band.
i guess time really really flies.
it seemed like only yesterday when i first joined mjcsb in december 2004 for juxtapose.
when arms and i did the huggables for the saxtion(weejit, timmit, chrisit, yijit, yongqit, fabbit and elit) on valentine's day.
when i got into mjcsb after 1st 3 months.
when atp was formed.
when we played invictus continuously for the syf.
when yijun took over as president.
which was on the day of meridian superstar '05,
after joel said "for the last time, band dismissed."
and who can forget, the genting trip.
plus most recently, joie de vivre II.
of cuz, there were other events in between.
i simply highlighted a few.
christmas lunch, band bbq, saxtion chalet, band camp blahblahblah.
so i guess this is where it all ends huh?
6 yrs of band.
6 yrs of playing the saxophone.
6 yrs of playing music with people who has a similar passion for band(Call me a band geek/nut. i don't really care).
thankfully, i'll still haf my memories left with me.
